What will your typical day look like?
• Identify and overcome barriers to development
• Deliver projects on time and on budget per Workplan
• Build relationships with a wide array of stakeholders
• Create and present content for different audiences
Your experience and abilities
• Undergrad in economic development, business, public administration, urban planning, or related field
(Degree is an asset)
• 3-5 years of progressive experience in economic or business development
• Experience in forestry, mining, agriculture, and/or tourism sectors
• Expertise in grant writing and reporting
• Strong background in stakeholder engagement
• Political acuity, tact and discretion
• Outstanding people skills
• Knowledge of Indigenous history, culture, treaties, right, including duty to consult
• Comfortable and productive in a fluid and evolving environment
• Advanced English and basic French language skills (written/spoken)
Total Rewards
The salary range for this position is $79,000 to $87,500, plus 12% in lieu of benefits, offering a
competitive and rewarding compensation package. We value individual contributions, promote personal
